There's still time to give up any coats you or your children no longer wear and pass it on to someone in need.
The Salvation Army's Koats for Kids drive is nearing an end. Distribution of the coats begins tomorrow. As of Friday, 3,500 coats have been collected, but the group says they're shooting for an all time high of 4,000. So, if you just noticed that old jacket that just doesn't fit anyone in your family anymore, drop it off at Salvation Army headquarters any time so it can be passed along.
