Illinois Virtual High School

Illinois students looking for flexibility are increasingly turning to cyberspace for high school courses.

Enrollment in the state-run Illinois virtual high school has gone up in the past year, and school director Matthew Wicks expects the numbers to grow this fall.

Wicks says students are going online because they're looking for courses not offered at their own schools. They're making up classes or they're trying to juggle work, sports or other activities.
