Rockford police have arrested the third man in connection with the killing of eight-year-old Demarcus Hanson.
Late Monday night the third man wanted in connection with the shooting
Tyjuan Anderson was arrested standing outside a house on 6th Avenue. Twenty-one-year-old Anthony Ross was already in jail on an unrelated charge when first degree murder was added.
And 29-year-old Lumont Johnson was taken in Sunday on the same charge police say the three men were targeting one of Demarcus' male relatives who sometimes stays at the home, but instead shot and killed the eight-year-old.
All three men are being held on a $1 million bond and could face a minimum of 20 years in prison if convicted.
