There's a lot of anticipation leading up to the day we wear a wedding gown. And then for most of us, it's over in a flash, and that gorgeous dress is sealed up for typically the next 25 years. But some women chose today to be the day they bring it out of the box. St. Peter's Church in South Beloit held a mother-daughter brunch with a special wedding gown fashion show. Some wore their relative's, others donned their own. Organizers say it was such a thrill wearing an outfit that brings back so many memories.
"My mother-in-law was 1912, I believe, and it was kind of fun to bring her alive again," says Barbara Turner.
The gowns are from between 1912 and 2008.
