Police say 62-year-old Kenneth Winterland of Rockton was slowing for a yellow light when his car was struck from behind. He was pronounced dead at St. Anthony Medical Center.
The driver of the black Pontiac, 52-year-old Sarah Mendenhall and her passenger suffered minor injuries. They were treated and released from St. Anthony's. Mendenhall received a ticket for failing to slow down to avoid an accident.
