President Bush Outlaws Late-Term Abortions

One pro-choice group is already firing back. New TV commercials criticize the president for signing a bill that imposes the first federal restrictions on a woman's legal right to abortion.

Supporters of the bill use terms like barbaric to describe the procedure usually performed in the second or third trimester. A fetus is partially delivered before it's aborted.

The law is already facing some legal challenges. A federal judge in Nebraska Wednesday says he'll issue an injunction keeping the law from being implemented. He says it could violate the constitution.
