The Air National guard members are due back from their deployment in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
More than 350 members of the 182nd have been deployed to support operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
The soldiers returning Thursday will remain on active duty at the base until all of their equipment returns from Iraq, and they complete whatever maintenance work that needs to be done.
They could remain on active duty until March. But wing spokesman Major Bill Soddy said it likely won't take that long.
The guard members are due to arrive in Peoria about 2:30 Thursday afternoon.
