The Rock River Valley Blood Center saluted these folks in helping to meet the ever-growing demand for the gift of life.
Among the organizations saluted were Hamilton Sundstrand and the Byron Volunteer Fire Department.
Blood bank executives also announced a second blood mobile will be in service next spring.
