A tentative contract agreement has been reached between the Hononegah School Board and the Teachers Union; 118 teachers will vote on the contract offer Monday. If that is ratified then the students will be back in class on Tuesday.
Hononegah parents are still going to go through with their plans to open the school Monday. The list of events scheduled for the day include a pep rally, career speakers, and even music. Students who attend are asked to wear their school colors and schools ID’s.
No backpacks will be allowed and no school buses will not be running. Students have to find their own way to the school. The school will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 12 p.m.
