The Chicago mom Lisle Undesser says she's horribly sorry for what she's done.
Her claim prompted a concerned community of Geneva to raise thousands of dollars for the child, but not only were community members duped, Lisle's parents were as well. They're now taking out a home equity loan to repay the community's donations.
Meanwhile, the State Department of Children and Family Services and police have launched investigations.
