DeKalb County is cleaning up after the storm. The sheriff's department said they responded to numerous storm related calls in the southern part of the county. Several trees and power lines were down. Most of the damage was done along Lee Road just east of Route 23. That is where 6 transmission poles came crashing down. ComEd is on scene replacing the poles and re-wiring everything. Luckily no major power outages to report. Lee Road between Route 23 and Crego Road is closed. ComEd expects the repairs to be done by Wednesday.
