The state and health department are teaming up with local retailers to continue that downward trend.
At a training seminar Wednesday, the Illinois Liquor Control Commission showed retailers how to properly inspect identification cards, and passed out anti-tobacco propaganda to enhance retailers’ efforts in combating the problem
Organizers say the more the anti-tobacco program grows, the more that minor tobacco use shrinks. Wednesday's seminar was the first of three rounds of training to take place in the coming months.
