Congressman Don Manzullo told a group of local leaders about the federal funding. He says Jane will bring Rockford international attention and a major economic boost to the stateline. Museum leaders say the support has been exciting.
Crampton says the exhibit will cost about $7 million. With the federal funding comes a stipulation, local labor must be used for the project.
