None of Lord and Taylor outlets targeted are in Illinois.
The parent company, May Department Stores, is closing 32 in 15 states,
Two other May-owned stores operating under different names are also being shuttered.
It's a move that will cost about 3,700 people their jobs. The company says it expects to save about $50 million a year through these latest cutbacks.
