Contract negotiations between Hononegah High School teachers and the school board remain at a standstill. Now students are joining the picket line as the strike enters its second week.
Scheduling remains the biggest obstacle to an agreement. Students say they're the ones really suffering from the strike; their education has been put on hold. Several events, like homecoming and band auditions were cancelled because of the strike.
Now many seniors worry if a settlement is not reached soon, graduation will have to be pushed back.
