The massive piles of branches and debris along area roadways are getting smaller, as the cleanup continues from storm nearly two weeks ago.
City, county, and states agencies as well as hundreds of volunteers have been helping with the clean-up efforts.
Winnebago County drop off sites will continue to remain open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Friday, July 25. The need to keep them open will be evaluated at that time.
Residents can take storm damage material to any of these drop-off sites:
Deer Run Forest Preserve - river road in Cherry Valley
Ace of diamonds - South Main and the Rock River
Pecatonica River Forest Preserve - Brick School Road
