Monday, Wal-Mart and city officials announced plans to build two new Supercenters.
The existing Supercenter at Riverside and Alpine will be joined by a new location at Riverside and Owen Center Road on the city's northwest side. Wal-Mart will also be moving its store on East State Street, and expanding it into a Supercenter.
Wal-Mart officials say the new stores will help create more than 700 new jobs in the area.
The new stores are set to open early in 2005.
