ComEd Update

After almost a week without electricity, residents are flicking switches, seeing light and feeling a cool breeze. Many are now busy restocking their refrigerators.

ComEd says as of midnight last night, all power has been restored to its customers. More than 800 electrical workers and cleanup crews worked tirelessly over the past few days to get the lights back on. About 85,000 homes and businesses lost power during the storm.

If you still do not have power, it's possible ComEd does not know of your individual service problem.

Customers still without power today should call ComEd toll free at 1-800-334-7661 to report the problem.
