They say 42-year-old Kelly Luckow of Belvidere was killed when his snowmobile crashed into an eastbound driver near Route 20 and Spring Road in Garden Prairie. It happened just before 3AM this morning. That driver fled the scene. It's unclear whether alcohol played a role in the crash.

To the person who killed a great man and father: You will be judged. Your cowardness will catch up to and then you will pay the price for taking such a great life.

To the coward who killed my friend and drove off and left him to die, listen up. Big, big mistake. It's a small town and for your sake, I hope you keep your mouth shut. For mine, I hope you don't.
