The workers had been locked out of their jobs for almost six weeks because of failed contract negotiations with the company, but last Wednesday members of United Auto Workers local 5-92 and Hamilton-Sundstrand reached a deal.
Under the new contract, workers will receive a 16 percent pay increase over the five-year life of the agreement. Workers also got a signing bonus of $1,500.
Retiree healthcare benefits will be offered, but only until 2008.
