Auto Sales Plummet in December
The auto industry continues to take a skid. Last month, the nation's six largest automakers all saw sales drop more than 30 percent.

The auto industry continues to take a skid. Last month, Chrysler sold close to 89,000 cars, compared to more than 190,000 cars at the same time last year. That's a 53 % decline.
Meantime, Ford, GM, and Honda sales plummeted more than 31 %, while Toyota fell 37%.
Despite sinking numbers, Chrysler's December sales were up 5% from November levels.
