The FBI says a former Roman Catholic priest who fled the country after being accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a teenage girl has been caught.
Forty-four-year-old Sleeva Raju Policetti was working for a parish in Chicago when the allegations surfaced. He fled the country in May 2002.
He was captured last week in his native India, by agents from that country's Central Bureau of Investigation.
FBI officials say he has since been charged with a felony relating to his flight. He remains in custody in India while U.S. authorities file extradition papers.
