A coalition of 23 McLean County financial institutions is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to convictions in 13 holdups in Bloomington and Normal.
The crimes date back to January 2002.
The latest robbery occurred just hours before the reward was announced yesterday.
A robber fled with an undisclosed amount of cash from the Illinois State University Credit Union in Normal.
Police also are investigating unsolved robberies at eight other banks and credit unions, including several that have been help up twice over the last 18 months.
