It's one of the country's largest drive in chains, with over 34,000 restaurants nationwide, and it appears ready to make it's first splash in the stateline

Sonic drive-in received preliminary approval from the Cherry Valley planning commission to build it's first restaurant in the region. The new Sonic will be located just south of the Menard's parking lot on Perryville Road. The Village Planning and development committee will review the project on January fifth before it goes to the village board for a final approval.

I can't wait for Sonic to build here. All I see is adds on TV for it but there isn't one here. UNTIL Now. It is a great restaurant.

I would LOVE to see a Sonic here. I hope the crime and corruption doesn't drive it out.
