Army Specialist 4 Joe Keck received a hero's welcome Friday.
His friends and family planned three hours of surprises from the moment he got off the plane. He landed in O'Hare Airport at 1:40 p.m. Friday, only to get into a limo and head over to Loves Park City Hall as a celebration awaited him.
Keck was injured in a Humvee accident in Afghanistan and had his left arm amputated. Now he has a prosthesis and plans to stay with the Army to continuing serving his country.
