Rochelle's ethanol plant got a little fiscal energy from the state Tuesday.
It's one of five plants splitting 25-million dollars in grants to build five new state-of-the-art ethanol and bio-diesel facilities across the state. This will help reduce the state's dependence of foreign oil and create more jobs. The plants are expected to produce 225 million gallons of bio-fuels every year.
