Millions of Dell laptop computer batteries are being recalled because they're a fire hazard.
In the largest ever electronics recall, Dell is agreeing to replace 4.1 million Sony batteries in its laptop computers. The recalled batteries were installed in laptops made between April 2004 and July 18th of this year. The affected models are: the Latitude, Inspiron, Precision and Xps.
You can find out which model numbers are affected by logging onto Dell's website. The recall highlights an ongoing problem for many laptop makers. According to records obtained by CBS News, at least 26 people from around the country have told the consumer product safety commission about fires at homes, schools and hotel rooms since January of 2005.
