Those on parole in Rockford beware! Two new parole agents have been added to the force in an effort to reduce crime in the community. As part of the governor's public safety program called "Operation Spotlight".The program is geared to reduce repeat crime among convicted felons by increasing parolee contacts, and improved cooperation with local law enforcement and the community. Fifteen agents have recently graduated the program in Illinois. There are 460 agents total in Illinois.
