A new road means more than 800 new jobs in Beloit.
Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle presented a 500-thousand dollar grant Tuesday to the city of Beloit. The money will fund a new access road in the Gateway Business Park. The road will ultimately support the growth of Kettle Foods and other new businesses, as well as 859 new jobs in the Stateline.
Kettle Foods officially broke ground on a new production and distribution facility Tuesday morning. The facility is expected to be up and running early next year.
