"I am not opposed to elbowing and tripping, it's every man for themselves."

It may sound vicious, but it comes with the territory when Lori Bauerlein competes for door-buster sales.

"I expect it to be crazy this year just cause of the economy everyone after those deals," she says.

Some of those deals include a 300-dollar 26" LCD TV at Target and DVD's under five bucks. But some analysts think that won't be enough to entice shoppers. In fact they think Black Friday sales will be down three-percent.

"We're definitely planning for it to be a little less of a Christmas season than last year. But I think we'll see a lot more practical gifts, maybe some more toys, board games, electronics but I think our clothing department will do a lot better this year. I think there will be a lot more people who need the clothes anyways, there good practical gifts to buy for people," says Target Team Leader Craig Steege.

Practical or not, Best Buy expects crowds to line the store with big ticket items like this 60 inch HDTV on sale for $999 and discounted electronics. Unlike the past, Best Buy will be fully stocked on popular game systems, that way no one misses out on the fun.

"All game systems will be in stock we'll have an abundance of every TV we have on sale so it should be a good day on Friday," says Dan Johnson, Best Buy Customer Experience Manager.

Bauerlein thinks so too. So she'll be ready, list in hand, to fight the crowds at 5am.
