Shares of Exelon fell Monday on news that the company's second-quarter profit grew 25 percent. Revenue edged higher and the company logged wider margins. Shares of Exelon fell 45 cents to close at $57.90.

Meanwhile, an environmental study shows ten of Exelon's eleven nuclear plants in three states have tritium levels that exceed natural amounts in the groundwater. However, the study says the levels are just barely above natural levels at most of the plants, including the nuclear plant in Byron.
