The parents of Justin Geiger, the 20-year-old from South Beloit who police say killed two University of Wyoming students and then himself, have released a statement.
The Geiger's say "We would like to express our deepest sympathies to the families and extended families of these fine young people whose lives have been destroyed by such senseless acts of violence. We can only pray for divine guidance and comfort."
The incident happened July 16th in Laramie, Wyoming. Investigators say Geiger shot one of the victims in the head, and stabbed two others. One died, and the other survived. Then, the 2005 Hononegah graduate turned the gun on himself. Geiger was a freshman at the University of Wyoming, studying marketing.
