A Harlem school board member says two-and-a-half million dollars are missing from the school district... and today the harlem school board president says there will be no independent audit. Board member Gloria Maloney asked the board to hire an independent auditor to search for the money. She claims it went missing from a construction fund. But the school board says it would cost 30-thousand dollars a year to hire the auditor. School board president sandi johnson says there are other alternatives to taking taxpayer money.
