Here’s an update on the discovery of a body in a Winnebago County forest preserve.
A hiker found the body of 42-year-old Jason Carabelli of Roscoe Wednesday night in the Kieselburg forest preserve. Autopsy results, just in as to how Carabelli died, are inconclusive.
Winnebago County Coroner Sue Fiduccia says Carabelli was reported missing last Wednesday. The coroner’s office believes he died within 24 hours.
The body did not have any signs of trauma.
