We caught up with Rockford College Political Science Professor Bob Evans at the half way point during Tuesday's debate. At that time, he said a winner wasn't clear. But he says the dialog put to rest the idea that Americans don't have a genuine choice on Election Day.
"On virtually every policy, it's a consistently liberal approach, an honest liberal approach versus an honest more conservative approach. So I think people really have a choice to make," Evans said.
Evans also pointed out that the two candidates appeared more engaged this time around compared to last month's debate. And he feels that should help voters too.
