It was a very happy Easter weekend for one Stateline resident, but we don't know exactly who yet.
An Illinois Lotto ticket worth $10 million was sold at a convenience store in Rockford. But the winner has not claimed the prize yet.
The winning ticket in Saturday's $10 million Illinois Lotto drawing was sold at the Al-Mart convenience store on Saturday at 10:34 a.m. by Fadel Morra.
"The first thing I feel is good for him because he's our customer. I feel good and better because I sell a winner ticket," said Morra.
There's a lot of talk and speculation at the convenience store about who the big winner is and when he or she will come forward.
"We've got a lot of regular customers that come here everyday so it could be someone we know," said Lucille Lambert, Al-Mart employee.
"I hope to see them soon. I want to see the look on their face now that they've won the money," Morra said.
This is the first big lotto win for Al-Mart and the store's employees are excited to be a part of it.
"I feel happy and surprised. I hope it's one of my customers because I have a lot of customers and they're all nice," said Nasouh Awwad, Al-Mart manager.
The big win will also benefit Al-Mart. They get one percent of the prize so $100,000 is headed for the store.
