3 People Hurt in DeKalb County Crash

DEKALB COUNTY (WIFR) -- Three people are hurt after two cars crash in DeKalb County.

The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office says it happened around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday on Baseline Road and Five Points Road near Kingston.

Investigators say Stephanie Alcantar, 18, of Genoa was traveling east on Baseline Road when she failed to yield to a car traveling north on Five Points Road. Both cars crashed sending the second vehicle into the ditch. The people in the second vehicle were Serbano Guajardo, 63, and Anthony Robles, 23, both of Belvidere and Jonathan Mahvrin, 22. Guajardo was taken to the hospital, as well as, Alcantar and her passenger Morgan Thomas, 18. The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office has not released their current conditions.

The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office has charged Alcantar for not having a valid driver's license and failure to yield.
