ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- On Tuesday, 09/25/12, Detectives from the Rockford Police Dept. Investigative Services Bureau executed search warrants at two apartments in a building in the 4100 block of Laramie Ln. The search warrants were the result of an identity theft investigation that has been on going over the past several weeks. During the investigation it was learned that subjects occupying or residing within the two apartments had used the personal information of the victim to access or open credit card accounts. These accounts were then used to purchase items both locally at retail stores and via the Internet. Two adult females and one adult male were located in one apartment; while three adult males, an adult female, and a juvenile male were located in the second apartment.

Following the completion of the search warrants the results of the investigation were reviewed by the Winnebago County States Attorney’s Office. As a result, charges were authorized against three individuals: Darion G. Norris, Lesley L. Weathers, and William B. Anderson. Photos of the suspects are not available at this time due to the on going nature of the investigation.
