With all the pay stubs and confusing forms, some last minute filers are once again scrambling to make sense of it all.
Year after year, the frenzy of numbers and forms has caused many to delay filing their taxes. The procrastination is also making it harder to make a last minute appointment next to impossible.
Paul Abernathy is a tax advisor at H&R Block. He says the first step is to make sure you have all of your W-2 forms. You can file for an extension if you find yourself pressed against the April 15 deadline. But if you owe money, interest will be charged on the deferred amount.
Paul says it's important to keep any check stub made out to charity. If you donate items such as clothing or cash, make sure you get a receipt.
