Family and friends of the military troops in Iraq gathered at the Ramada Suites with a message for each other, you are not alone. The purpose is to establish contact among military families so they can start support groups with those going through same thing.
There was a special guest of honor, Dorthy Boyer whose son Alan has been Missing in Action for 35 years. Dorthy says it is difficult not knowing what happened. Dorthy says she under stands what the families here are going through.
Many of the people at the support group said the hardest thing about having their loved one in Iraq is the not knowing.
