Rockford area residents are finding there is strength in numbers. So they've pulled together in a big way to support our troops and each other.
More than 300 flag-waving Stateline Americans passed through the doors of Memorial Hall. They united to show their American pride and voice their support for the troops in Iraq.
There were veterans, friends and family members, all there to send a message to troops that they are not alone. Some has family stationed in Iraq some don’t. Many sent prayers others a message to their family. The rally pulled people together who may not have otherwise met. And could possibly of started friendships that may last a lifetime.
The events planners said they expected about 100 people and were pleased to see so many in the community pull together in this time need.
