WInnebago County Animal Services Offers Half Off Adoptions

WINNEBAGO COUNTY (WIFR) -- All cats and dogs one year and older are half off the regular adoption fee at Winnebago County Animal Services starting Wednesday August 20 through Saturday, August 30, 2014.

This adoption promotion is sponsored in part by the WCAS Volunteer Auxiliary and adoptions are limited to one cat or dog per household at the reduced adoption fee. Additional adoptions are regular price.

The special adoption fee for all adults cats one year and older is $20 each and all adult dogs one year and older $55 each. All adoptions include a free wellness exam, spay or neuter, microchip, vaccinations including a one year rabies shot, flea and tick preventative, deworming, and bag of food. All adult dogs are heartworm tested. Winnebago County residents who adopt a cat or dog also receive a one year Winnebago County rabies tag.

Winnebago County Animal Services currently has almost 60 adult cats and over 25 adult dogs that need homes.
