ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- A 16-year-old is expected to be OK after being shot while at a Rockford school Thursday night.
Police say two groups of people started a fight while at Gregory School, 4820 Carol Street, before 10 p.m. Thursday The 16-year-old boy was shot in the right leg. His friends brought him to an area hospital.
The injury is considered non-life threatening. There is no information about suspects at this time.
