A Rockford man is dead after a car crash in Ogle County, it happened yesterday morning.

Ogle County Sheriff's tell us Robert Compton was on River Road when he drove off the right side. He was pronounced dead at SwedishAmerican Hospital. Officials are waiting for autopsy results to determine the cause of death.
