Fire investigators say a five year old boy started a house fire in Rockford this morning, luckily no one was injured.
When crews showed up to a home on Carolina smoke was pouring out of the second floor window. They quickly put it out while the occupants, a mother and her son waited safely outside.
After some questioning, the child admitted to a fireman he had been playing with matches. We spoke to his mother who is distraught over the fact her son was able to get the matches in the first place.
