Beloit police have a new lead in the death investigation of Julienne McGuire. They have two sketches of persons of interest.
"The representations are from two witnesses that looked like this who were in the downtown area Monday morning at the time of the crime," says Deputy Chief Norm Jacobs.
The drawings could be two different impressions of the same man. Detectives believe the person or persons may be witnesses of the murder, or suspects. Police hope the sketches will produce more information from the public.
"Now is the time to get it - when people remember things from Monday morning that are suspicious," says Jacobs.
Investigators have received several tips from people who work in businesses in the area of the crime. There aren't any suspects named yet but police expect to make an announcement about the case on Friday.
