Two Roscoe Men On Hunting Trip Hit By Car, One Killed

TAYLOR CO, WI (WIFR) -- A Roscoe man is dead, another hurt after being hit by a car while on a hunting trip in Wisconsin.

The Taylor County Sheriff's Department says it happened around 5p.m. Friday near Aurora, which is about 45 minutes northwest of Milwaukee.

Investigators say the hunters were standing on or near the side of the road when they were hit. One of the men, a 52 year old, died immediately. The other, a 53 year old, is in the hospital with leg injuries.

Officers believe speed and alcohol caused the accident.
