CHERRY VALLEY (WIFR) -- Cherry Valley fire fighters say a man narrowly escapes injury after a scary accident on I-39 on Thursday.
A semi-truck carrying road salt rolled over into the ditch near the Harrison Rd. on ramp leading to Rt. 20 in Cherry Valley. The driver was trapped in the cabin, and it took rescue crews almost an hour to break him out. The driver only suffered minor injuries. The ramp was shut down for three and a half hours. State police are still investigating the cause of the rollover but they say speed may have been a factor.
