Hells Angels Still Rolling Into Rockford

ROCKFORD (WIFR) – Rockford Police are keeping a close watch on a major motorcycle convention laying ground in a Stateline park this weekend just one week after 14 alleged Hells Angels were taken into custody.

As Rockford waits for all the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club to roll into town law enforcement agencies are already making their presence known, and local bikers not affiliated with Hells Angels are dealing with them most tonight.

But Rockford’s streets will likely be packed with hundreds of bikers this week and the club pours into the Stateline as part of their USA Run. Some businesses aren’t welcoming the group with open arms as they have signs posted clearly asking the bikers to stay away.

The Hells Angels are scheduled to be in Rockford from July 28th to August 4th. Police say there’s no need to be worried as they are boosting patrols to keep our communities safe.
