SHANNON GRAVES WAS AND STILL IS MY BIGG COUSIN. I JUST THINK IT'S ODD THAT EPERSON JUSTIFIED THAT,THAT TYPE OF FORCE WAS NESASARY, WHEN IT WAS CLEAR AS DAY THAT HE WASN'T A THREAT TO HIS OFFICERS . IF THAT WAS THE CASE THAN WHY WOULD HE HAVE RAN ? MAY BE IT WAS THWE OTHER WAY AROUND. POLICE OFTEN TAKE THERE AUTHORITY TO THE HEAD AND EVEN OVER STEP THERE BOUNDRIES WHEN "THEY" FEEL THERE NOT HEAD OF THE SITUATION. BUT WE AS THE FAMILY OF SHANNON STAND STRONG NOMATTER HOW THEY TRY TO RUN HIS NAME IN THE GROUND TO COVER UP FOR THERE CARELESSNESS. IF YOU HAVENT WENT THROUGH IT YOU'LL NEVER UNDERSTAND HOW WE FEEL. Hello,my name is Shyla Graves Ernest "Shannon"Graves was my brother people can say and think what they want but your just outsiders looking in. Nobody heard my brother side of the story want to know why? He was murdered. The police department is going to say what they have to say to,to cover their own butts. The police didn't even have enough courage to come and look in my family in the face and tell their lies.We had to hear their fairytale story on the news.when my family went down town to get police story the detectives were unsure of which story to tell us.If the story they are telling is the truth wouldn't it only be one story to tell? And if my brother was trying to attack officers why didn't he get tasered in the chest? No one really know the truth theres so many unanswered questions that were asked that were not answered. It's so easy for you to judge when it doesn't impact your life. You don't know what my family is going through.I love you Shannon and Rest In Heaven.Your baby sis

As a Nurse, I believe the combination and amount of drugs in this mans sad death are more to blame than a taser.

This is a sad day for the Graves family Ernest Shannon Graves gone forever why? I find it very strange that he was tased 3 times is there anybody asking was this to extreme? the cheif says that they will not be charged because he was resisting arrest don't anybody find this strange. If you are hit with so many vaults how are you resisting. Answers is what the family and friends needs. then to further disrespect the family you go into his backgroung to paint a picture but Shannon was a kind person who loved animals, loved by many. How many of us have done things in our past do that make us bad human beings.? We did not need to hear about his past records that was irrelevant to this issue and if the drugs did not cause his death then why bring it up. Remember this young man was 29 years old somebodys' son, brother, grandson, cousin, friend and he was a human being. If this was anybodys' son you would want closure, answers what killed Ernest Shannon Graves? Shannon R.I.P Peace

If you run from a cop, you should expect to either get tazered or shot. It's your choice. Oh wait, maybe if a cop tells you to stop maybe you should stop. DUH!!
